Coach Thao Van Tran is a professional boxer and one of Vietnam’s most accomplished fighters. Known internationally as “The Trigger,” Coach Thao made history by becoming the first Vietnamese boxer to capture the WBC Asia Championship title and later became Vietnam’s first IBA World Champion.

With years of experience competing at the highest levels of professional boxing, Coach Thao brings world-class knowledge, discipline, and technical skill to Cloud Nine MMA. His boxing style emphasizes strong fundamentals, precise footwork, timing, defense, and intelligent combinations.

Throughout his career, Coach Thao has represented Vietnam on the international stage while inspiring the next generation of fighters. His experience competing against elite athletes allows him to help students understand not only how to punch, but how to move, think, and perform like a boxer.

At Cloud Nine MMA, Coach Thao’s mission is to share his knowledge with everyone from beginners learning boxing for the first time to competitors looking to sharpen their skills. His classes focus on building confidence, discipline, technique, and a champion’s mindset.
